Bluebeam End of Life (EOL) Support

Supported versions and support tiers

Bluebeam offers two levels of technical support: Core and Legacy, with the greatest depth of support given to our newest products on supported operating systems.

To learn more about products that are approaching or have reached End of Support, please see Bluebeam End of Life (EOL) Support.

Bluebeam is moving Revu from a licensing and maintenance model to subscription. For more information, see them Bluebeam Subscription FAQ.

Core Support Products

EOL Cycle for Products

In the AEC industry, it's important to stay updated with the product lifecycle of your software tools. Bluebeam, a leading software provider, follows a structured End of Life (EOL) cycle for their products.

As a part of this EOL cycle, Bluebeam notifies users via email and support.bluebeam.com about the official EOL date for a product. Prior to the EOL date, the product enters the End of Development stage, during which no further updates or patches will be released. Once the End of Development stage is complete, the product moves into the End of Sale stage, meaning it will no longer be available for purchase.

Following End of Sale, the product enters the End of Support stage. During this stage, users can still access the online knowledge base for self-help support options for legacy products. However, full technical support and license assistance will no longer be available. More information on supported versions and support tiers can be found by clicking on the relevant product.

Studio will no longer work with these products after the above mentioned dates. If you wish to continue using EOL products, it is strongly recommended to back up your work. You can find further information regarding How to Back up Your Studio Data

*For users of Revu 2019 and older versions, and Revu for Mac, it is important to note that as of June 28, 2023, full support for licenses will no longer be available. While re-registration may still work, it cannot be guaranteed due to the third-party dependencies and the unsupported nature of these retired versions.

Once the official EOL date has passed, users will lose access to cloud-based services such as Studio. To maintain uninterrupted access to Studio, it is recommended to upgrade to the latest version of Revu

It's crucial to keep track of the EOL cycle for your software tools to ensure continued support and functionality. Be sure to stay informed and plan accordingly to avoid any interruptions in your workflow.
